Top 3 Things We Learned at #FireflySummit2021

Innovation, presentation, growth: these were just some of the themes echoed by Firefly team members last week when several gathered in New York for the first of many Firefly Sales Summits.

For some, it was a chance to meet coworkers in person for the very first time. For others, the summit provided an opportunity to continue personal and professional development or to sharpen our skills.

Either way, we are confident that our sales, operations, marketing, and executive teams all walked away with a renewed sense of optimism and confidence in our industry, as well as excitement for where the future is taking us as a company.

Here’s what a few of our colleagues had to say about the event and the top things we all learned while together:

RELEVANCE

“It’s become quite clear that lots of advertising mediums are on their way out, but Firefly is IN. There is such a high demand for digital street-level media, and we couldn’t be better positioned as a company to grow. It was also great to learn more about the roadmap for our new video product inside rideshares and taxis. Our team had a great time connecting and brainstorming on how our amazing clients can leverage the screens on top and inside in an innovative, meaningful way”

- Cecilia Lang, Chief Revenue Officer

TEAMWORK

“Hard-working team players looking to build and keep iterating on something amazing - together. Not one person to me seemed to be out for their own interests, but for that of the whole. And they were all looking to make each other better with the skills they honed. That's how a team wins. That's how an organization moves onwards and upwards.”

- Jen Greene, Taxi Media Sales Operations

FRESH PERSPECTIVES

“Team building and strategy are always great, but I really enjoyed getting a glimpse into the operational side of our business which helps to have a holistic understanding of our strategy and path forward. Our guest speakers provided a nice outside perspective of the industry and gave some ideas on how Firefly can best approach the changing tides in advertising and OOH specifically. There is also nothing better than working hard and cracking open a cold beer with colleagues after hours!”

- David Patrone, Account Executive

With the world continuing to navigate its new normal, we at Firefly are well-prepared to move forward into 2022.

Now more than ever, we’re ready to embrace innovations in technology and advertising to deliver to our clients an exceptional experience and solid results as only Firefly can.
